Hawkesbury
Dressage Club Inc. has been
blessed with many outstanding
members. We were honoured to
have awarded life membership to
three of these very special
people in acknowledgement of
there ongoing dedication both to
the sport of Dressage and to
Hawkesbury Dressage Club Inc. We
also acknowledge the huge
efforts of Mr
Murray Tonkin who has worked
tirelessly for the club over
many years.

Jan Geary may be familiar to
some of you as an A level Judge
who is often present at
competition days. What may be
less known is she together with
her husband John co-founded the
Club and her early efforts at
organisation and sponsorship
deals gave Hawkesbury Dressage
such a good name in those early
years.

Lyn Alabaster is another
familiar face formerly a B Level
Judge she is very highly
regarded for her ongoing efforts
to promote young horse
competitions, Dressage Seminars,
workshops and clinics.

June Smyth-King is another A
Level judge who is also a
familiar face around Hawkesbury
Dressage Club. Her contribution
has included the development of
the “Classical Tests” and
the donation of the Perpetual
“Classical Dressage Trophy”. |
